Draped bust of Abgar right, bearded, wearing a diadedemed tiara, star behind.
Very nice example of a normally crudely struck coin. Abgar X was raised to throne when Gordian III recovered Mesopotamia from the Persians in AD 242. It is likely that his reign ended shortly after Gordian III's death in AD 244.
